From their Mediterranean World, in 1921, Ms. Carolina Gorchs travelled
to Chile to raise a family with Mr. Antonio Rabat, from the same
European Origin. Together they developed with great enthusiasm,
successful
viticulture initiatives. Their descendants have continued such
passion that gathers their Mediterranean ancestral traditions
with
the
incredible vitality of Chilean central valleys for cultivating wine.
From their lands in Apalta, in Colchagua Valley, Worldwide known
for its superior viticulture conditions, the familiar
activity is
projected by
the brand Casal de Gorchs.
There, next to the vineyards, is the old house where the new
descendants of Ms. Carolina Gorchs are annually renewing – From the
Tanks to
the Tastings – their roots with the art of making wine.
